She was worth the wait ...

It is simply awesome how all of the pieces fit together. After all of the worry (Matt), the labor (Kristin), and the waiting (everyone!) ... Amelia Grace was born on July 3rd ... weighing eight pounds two ounces, measuring twenty-and-a-half inches, with a head full of coal black hair, and with a grace that befits her name.

Though Madolyn was a bit shy for all of a minute during their introduction, she has really taken to her new baby sister. In fact, we are already anticipating some miniture struggles over just who is going to get to rock Amelia to sleep at night! I am personally looking forward to watching Madolyn help pick out the clothes that Amelia is going to wear for the day. She is definately going to have fun being a big sister.

If the first impressions are any indication, Amelia will be a calm, yet attentive little girl. She is a bit more quiet than Madolyn was, and has taken very well to family and friends. Kristin and I both feel that she has been listening very carefully to the happenings of the family life while she was in the womb and it is obvious that she keys in on whoever is talking with her.

In short, Amelia is going to fit right in ... and we are going to cherish every minute of it.

Matt(MJ) and Family, Congratulations on your new addition. Thanks for sharing your pictures. They were great. Statistically speaking, I think there is 100% chance that she has made your life better already.

Take Care,
André
